BusGuide has received access to IRIS bus timing info

This is good news indeed. After meeting up with folks from SBS last Friday to demo my BusGuide app and to request access to their IRIS bus timing info, I was given the contract to sign today. This effectively mean that BusGuide will officially be given access to the bus timing info on IRIS.

Due to my busy schedule, I will not be able to rush an update to BusGuide, but rest assure that once I get the APIs needed to retrieve the bus timing info, I will be making the changes and putting up an update to Marketplace.

I thank everyone for all the emails informing me of this issue, and I’m glad that a working version of BusGuide is now within means.

Why can’t SBS just take away the code number and everything will be back to normal.

I think the reason they are doing this is to have more control of where the traffic coming in to their servers is from.
